editI think there should be a definition either in the first sentence or very soon after it that says "Rhetorical reason is...." etc. It shouldn't wait until the end of the third paragraph. Michael Hardy 02:30, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

editI think those tags are uncalled for. The article is formatted appropriately, it is clean, and it is clear. It may not be clear to the average person, but it is a well documented area of research within speech communication, which isn't exactly rocket science. JTallmon 02:28, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Writing style
editThis article reads more like an academic paper and less like something that belongs in an encyclopedia. Also, I'm not sure if it is in good form to write an article and support it with other materials that you yourself have written. -Eric --88.44.115.66 (talk) 08:37, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
