There has been some discussion on my talk page about this article, so I thought I'd summarize some points here so that it's with the article itself, Are1718:

In reviewing sources, its appropriate to question how reliable a source is. A published source, from the state is more reliable that looking on a map or driving the area. We need a published source.... that's the nature of WP:Verifiability and WP:Reliable sources.
I do agree that there are times when Google maps can be used as a source... for information that is clearly identifiable from the map. But extrapolating information that goes against published sources, isn't a proper use of google maps.
  • I totally understand writing from example, and have done that myself as a starting point. But, there should not be parent categories if there are subcategories represented in the article. So, if there's a category for rivers in a county in Pennsylvania, then the main category for Lists of Rivers of Pennsylvania is not needed.–CaroleHenson (talk) 04:40, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
