Artwork

edit

Until the official is put up would people please stop posting up the nonofficial artwork, its driving me crazy. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by DSDark (talkcontribs) 02:02, 14 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

You were told that artwork came from an official site, DSDark. -Jeske (Mail goes here) 02:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Do we know where it's found on the official site so we can show it to him then? Nemu 02:09, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I don't; ArrEmmDee might. -Jeske (Mail goes here) 02:12, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Now the link for this artworks sends me to a fansite and the image style is the same as other fake images so i'm going to put two and two together and say the image is fake.––DSDark 21:29, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The site isn't loading for me, but I was told a few months ago when I was also removing the image that if I were to check the site, it would explain that it obtained the images from www.pokemon.co.jp-- which implied to me that even if it isn't in the Sugimori art style, it doesn't make it any less official (TCG art is official art, even if not in the standard style). If it was on pokemon.co.jp, that would make it official. Since nobody contested the license when it was initially uploaded, that makes it fair use, and applicable for this page. Until the 'official' art comes out in a decent size, I see absolutely nothing wrong with this image. You're just making a big obsessive-compulsive fuss over nothing, really! Especially when you consider that this piece of art and the official art have an identical pose-- so even if it is found that the site was lying, it was likely a trace and expansion of the lower resolution official art. It will do for the two or three more weeks people will need to wait for the official image to come out in a larger size. If you have an insane beef, have the image itself deleted. If you're right, it shouldn't be too hard. And then there will be nothing 'incorrect' for you to revert to. --ArrEmmDee 21:49, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

So this there real official artwork for this pokemon or not and if so where can i view it?––DSDark 21:58, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't remember. It was a 50x32 thumbnail of a magazine I found on a forum website. It's beside the point, however, as I can't find it and it was unusable anyways. --ArrEmmDee 22:35, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well unless this image is sited from an official it has to stay off––DSDark 22:49, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
This seems to have everything to do with you wanting the image and nothing to do with the Wikipedia article. Ironic since the pose in this art and the official is identical. But whatever. Shall we start another 3RR tango as soon as I can start going again? I have all day! --ArrEmmDee 23:03, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
You need not wait for such formalities. Report him on WP:ANI if he repeats his behavior more than twice after this point. Such warring is counter-productive and his blanking of the image licensing info shows he won't be reasonable about this. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 08:46, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Basically the image has been proven to be unofficial in always, so calm down i'll deal with the big image, which doesn't really totally look like Rampard––DSDark 21:08, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
It is a perfect trace of the official art. It looks identical. --ArrEmmDee 22:30, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
It's a trace? If so, it falls under fan art, so it should go. Nemu 22:49, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Not if it's TCG art or otherwise, which might be the case if it came from the Japanese site at one point. --ArrEmmDee 00:15, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I have a Link for official artwork http://atomic4ever.net/pokexperto/nds/pkmn/ramuparudo.jpg DSDark 16:28, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Anime Section

edit

To the person who wrote the anime section for Rampard,

Don't write any anime sections as your work clearly showed that you're are incapable of writing information in a professional manner. Luckily, I corrected your awful writing. QuagmireBlahBlahBlah 16:02, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's pretty pointlessly arrogant over some insignificant episode of an insignificant anime. Find something better to be elitist about, you look like a complete dick otherwise. --ArrEmmDee 18:37, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
