Since this has been designated the state lichen of California, it's importance in people's lives has been boosted. Also, many news outlets are calling Ramalina menziesii "commonly known as Spanish Moss" which is Tillandsia usneoides which isn't even a lichen. To avoid this confusion in the future, it might be prudent to move this page to its common name, "Lace Lichen". 66.75.250.95 (talk) 01:33, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
