An isobar map for a strong storm would be a nice illustration for this article. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 20:06, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll find one of Isidore, which is one of the larger storms of the past decade. Remember, it's all about size in this article, not strength. Thegreatdr (talk) 20:09, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Good point. I was just thinking about tightly-packed isobars and highlighting the outermost one as the ROCI. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 20:13, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
I just realized that was a problem. The outermost closed isobar itself is known as the POCI (pressure of the outermost closed isobar.) Whatever map I pick, I think it will have to show lines through it indicating how the ROCI value is an average of the 4 quadrants. Thegreatdr (talk) 14:48, 1 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
