The original article really only covered RAF Hednesfords time as a basic training centre for National Servicemen. It had no real information on the origin of the site, its use during WW2 or its closing down and current use. I happened to have a booklet "Kitbag Hill - The story of RAF Hednesford" by C.J Whitehouse, published CJ and GP Whitehouse 1987. Printed by WM Print Ltd of Walsall ISBN : 0 9512903 0 4 . This was actually purchased on a visit to the site at the visitor's centre that is at one corner of it. I've extracted the information from the book to fill in the missing periods. I've changed the section on its use to train National Servicemen only to avoid repetition of information (wooden barrack huts etc). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.173.221.115 (talk) 15:21, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
