Article move request

edit

I say we move the article to Rán :) - Haukur 22:56, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why? In Old Norse it is spelt Ran, the acute accent above the letter A is a modern addition. Kindly revert it back. 81.77.53.161 12:05, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
The vowel is long in Old Norse and that's what the acute accent indicates. Accents are sporadically used to indicate vowel length in the medieval manuscripts and regularly in standardized Old Norse spelling. Haukur 12:19, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Poetic or Prose?

edit

The Poetic Edda section starts with "Rán receives three mentions in the Prose Edda". Was that meant to say "in the Poetic Edda"? --Kumagoro-42 (talk) 23:35, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for finding that! Fixed it. :bloodofox: (talk) 00:39, 15 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
