It looks to me that the editor who created the article may have hid his own affiliate-seller urls within Village Voice etc links. (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Queen_of_Soul:_The_Atlantic_Recordings&diff=135037988&oldid=135033171). - leading to buy.com directly. Otherwise why do it? To link to cited reviews? It's not impossible I suppose. It was probably an expensive thing to buy, but I don't think the box set is in print any more. I've had a quick look through his contributions and I can't see evidence of it happening again, and he's not editing now it appears.

I do wonder sometimes exactly how much money people make from this place either linking directly to their own businesses, via clever citing, or through affiliate selling. You used to see it a lot if you knew where/how to look - ie in the 99% of Wikipedia that exists outside of its core articles. I think even 'Veteran' editors constantly move these kind of links around the articles without ever checking them - even when they can actually see the url they've moved, like here. That's what gets me - the lack of importance held in checking (or even validating) links after they've initially been created. Matt Lewis (talk) 03:47, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

Rhino Records release is not a reissue of the original release by Atlantic Records

I made some basic changes that eliminate the statements that the Rhino release is a reissue of the Atlantic release. I also corrected the track listing of the Rhino release (by inserting "Don't Let Me Lose This Dream" as track 6 of disc 1).

What really needs to happen, however, is to create a completely new Wikipedia page for the Rhino Records release, and to move its cover art and track listing to the new page.
