Dog IQ?
editI believe this was featured in the "Dogs" episode that the Spanish Police have a minimal entry requirement of an IQ of 70 but there are no dogs (QI referenced German Alsatians) as they have an IQ of 60 or less. MGD11, 17:41, 30 June 2008 (BST)
Forfeit
editForfeit is usually spelled forfeit rather than forefit (as it is repeatedly in the article) - is there a reason fore it? 88888 14:09, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Yes. I'm rubbish a spelling. ISD 14:56, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Does anyone know why this is currently being repeated out of order? 80.41.35.18 01:11, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Deep Blue
editThe deep blue articles says nothing of deep blue being part of a flight booking thing, is QI wrong?
As far as I know, after IBM finished Deep Blue it was broken down and parts sold to various companies for their use. I believe that one part was sold to one militry organisation, another to a flight booking company and at least one other part to a academic centre. MGD11, 17:39, 30 June 2008 (BST)
The Divination episode and Alan Davies' lack of participation therein
editThe article says that Davies was not present for this episode and was replaced by a body double for the opening wide shot of the studio, but what about the shot where he pressed his buzzer and disappeared? Was this a "buzzer shot" dropped in from another episode and doctored? Or did he come to the studio just to film that one shot, and if so why would it be necessary to replace him with a double in the wide shot when they could have just done both at the same time......? ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:56, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
I think the shot of Alan disappearing was done before the rest of the show recorded, with a body double standing in for the wide shot. I also think that seeing as this is the most likely reasoning (unless Alan really was there the whole time!) during editing Alan had his voice merged in to believe he was there. I think at the time of recording there was an event or similar that Alan had to attend. MGD11, 17:36, 30 June 2008 (BST)
- The article says the shots leading to his disappearance were taken before episode 8 to match with Phill Jupitus being seated next to him, but Phill wore a red suit in ep8 and a black one in ep10. So what does "to match with Phill" really mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.160.130.14 (talk) 08:42, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Death episode theme music
editShould it be notated that the Death episode is (to this date) the only non-Christmas episode to use modified theme music? Rascalb (talk) 20:22, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Cleanup
editI'm proposing that for cleanup we start by removing all of the 'tangent' sections since these are straying pretty far from the topic of the article, which is a list of the QI episodes. Comments? Markleci (talk) 14:52, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
