editThere seem to exist two independent ailments:
- Pyridoxine deficiency
- Pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy (OMIM 266100), covered in eMedicine under "Vitamin B-6 Dependency Syndromes" with the most notable mutations in ALDH7A1 \ antiquitin gene.
