Pye Green BT Tower

edit

I recommend Pye Green BT Tower be merged to Pye Green per WP:LOCAL. Any objections? Quarl (talk) 2006-12-31 07:08Z

  • Yes. They are two entirely different subjects. Why would a merged article be better in this case? It makes no sense. Harumphy 10:49, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • It's not really an article on its own, just a stub, and hard to expand. WP:LOCAL explains the reasoning for merging it to the parent locale. Quarl (talk) 2006-12-31 14:07Z
      • The first part of your reply could be applied equally to any stub. And why is it hard to expand? Is it simply that you don't know much about the subject? If so, how can you be sure that everyone else's knowledge of the subject is as limited as your own? Another thing, this article has just been through AfD and the result was 'keep'. How much more of our precious spare time do you think you are entitled to waste?Harumphy 15:05, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
        • Stay calm, please, I was the one that closed the AFD as "keep" :). I agree that the statement about stubs applies to stubs in general, and in fact, most stubs about places of local interest should be merged to their parent locale. Okay, I won't say this article is "hard to expand", but this is as much content as we have right now, so it should be merged. If it's ever expanded to a full article (i.e. 10 times the size it is now) it can be split off again. I feel like I'm just repeating WP:LOCAL :) Quarl (talk) 2007-01-01 00:27Z
