edit- I'm no expert (and that's why I'm not changing it), but I suspect this is a typo, and the intent is that Purpura may "stimulate a melanoma".
- Also, I'm not sure if I agree with the logic of the last part of the sentence: "...if the patient does not communicate the acuteness of onset." Seems to me that whether or not the patient communicates the acuteness, the potential for melanoma will remain unchanged. It is probably better to replace that part of the sentence with "...if it goes untreated." However, there is a reference attached to that sentence, so I am reticent to change it.
- I think a good step for this article would also to be to make it immediately approachable to non-experts, like mentioning very early on that what is being described here is a dermatological condition, etc. Steamroller Assault (talk) 18:41, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
