Just noticed a couple of problems:

The Genus Polystigma is a fungus.

The reportedly more current name would seem to be Neorrhina punctatum. I'm basing this on a this page which like a few others says: "This beetle was once called Polystigma punctatum". The page also gives another common name, Spotted Flower Chafer. This page and others refer to printed sources which I suspect will give more information.

Unfortunately I do not know how to fix this, in particular what the Genus should be (as it's clearly wrong), but also whether the name should be changed, and if so how.

  • Fungal names and animal names do not compete for priority; they are governed by different nomenclatural codes. You can have the same genus name for a fungus, a plant, a bacterium, and an animal - and there are indeed a few such cases. Dyanega (talk) 21:22, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
