I think it is wrong to consider Profiler to be a "clone" or "rip off" of Millennium, as both shows started in 1996. It is also debatable whether Sam Waters is a psychic. Alsen 01:21, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Villain
editI think that the recurring villan "Jack of all trades" needs mentioning. He was obivously an attempt to give Sam a nemisis similar to Prof Moriarity to Sherlock Holmes, or, to put it in TV terms, Dr Loveless to James West. Rlquall 12:59, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Jamie Luner
editI agree that Jack should be mentioned, along with the fact that Ally Walker departed from the lead role before the last season and was replaced by Jamie Luner. Many fans were happy with Ally's departure because of her lack of acting ability, but I suppose many were angered considering she was the lead. However, Jamie Luner was much better and brought new life to the show. The season finale was a cliffhanger with Luner's character being thrown off the force. It was cancelled before the next season and the storyline never resolved.
Many fans were happy with her depature? I am copletely unfamiliar with those fans.
Ally Walker was the show and when she left, it tanked. Jamie Luner's acting skills don't hold a candle to Ally's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.43.88.164 (talk) 16:56, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
It says in the saeson three recap, that Samantha Water retires after capturing Jack, but as I recall, she is actually kidnapped by him. He wants to make her a killer too, and therefore the new girl is hired to help the task force find her and along with her Jack-of-all-trades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.138.164.78 (talk) 17:36, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Ally Walker vs Jamie Luner
editAlthough I am a fan of Jamie's, I think Ally Walker was fantastic. What has happened to her? I still watch the show every morning at 6am on the Sleuth Channel.
Bring back Ally and Profiler (plus the greatest cast)!
== Ally Walker is an incredible Actress ==.
I think Ally Walker is incredible. She portrayed a very intelligent but sometimes unusual and quirky character. The more I watch the re-runs, the more I respect her acting ability and really put her above a lot of others who portray seemless perfect characters, with no flaws. Her facial expressions showed a somewhat troubled but extremely intelligent mind working on cases. She is an extremely intelligent person so maybe she wasn't acting as much as some would have to... I think she was way ahead of her time, and current shows hitting the air are now pushing the same type of character types.
There is also no discussion of WHY Walker left the show. Did NBC force her out? Did she quit? This is a big blank spot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.124.92.246 (talk) 23:05, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Prologo.jpg
editImage:Prologo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- When an image is obviously put out to promote a product, it should be blatantly evident that it's meant to be seen by as many people as possible. The "fair use rationale" is simple common sense.Landroo (talk) 06:52, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Crossover with The Pretender
editNo mention here of the crossover with The Pretender? That page has at least a paragraph on it... John Darrow (talk) 10:38, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
What night did this air?
editWasn't this show and Pretender Saturday Night fodder on NBC? I actually liked these shows over NBC's yuppie shows during the weekdays. Was the airing like the way CBS aired Forever Knight? Apple8800 (talk) 07:53, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
