I moved the following section to here, because before any reinsertion the following issues need to be addressed:

It seems to deal with surgical pathology in general and not with products of conception specifically.
Pathology refers to the abnormal conditions, but here it seems to refer to the normal state.

The term in surgical pathology implies the presence of normal chorionic villi and the absence of trophoblastic pathology, e.g. complete hydatidiform mole.^[1] Embryonal or fetal parts may or may not be present.
