I've redirected this to Chief complaint, as it included the British term Presenting complaint. However, Identified patient could well fit as well, as it includes the individual as the "Presenting Problem".

It is commonly used but, due to my lack of expertise in this area, I am happy to defer to others wisdom. --Bridge Boy (talk) 14:36, 4 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Related to moving/redirects, why is this article written with one term as the title, then fails to use that term as the primary one in the article? If "presenting problem" isn't used before "chief complaint", as here—"presenting problem" isn't even first alternative to either "chief complaint" or "presenting complaint" given—then one of two things is true: the lead is written incorrectly, or the article should be moved to the primary term. I favor the latter, but I'm not about to unilaterally decide which is true. 100.40.6.4 (talk) 11:25, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
