Importance?

Being a graduate of Windham High School, I really hate to ask this question, but what is the importance of the subject of this article? We also should consider adding source citations to this article. I'm about to add this to Wikipedia:WikiProject Ohio as well to improve this article. -- SwissCelt 11:34, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

The PTC subject is really important only to people who went or go to any of the member schools or who have dealt with the league in any way. It's no more or less important than the article on the Mid-American conference or the Big Ten in college or articles like them. People may want to know something about the league the school they're playing in sports plays in while others may want to know something about the league they're school plays in. The bottom line is that it's basic information on an athletic league in the United States, which also happens to be in Ohio. I think adding it to the Ohio WikiProject is a good idea so that other people are aware of the page's existence. I can add several citations for the history and specifics of the league-- first I had to find them again. Much of what I wrote in my edits was from memory and just watching the league over the past year. I'm also not sure I like the championships section anymore...it seems like too much...any thoughts from anyone else? JonRidinger 10:08, 7 August 2006

Removed external link

I removed the external link to the discussion forum which is dedicated to a single school in the PTL, since it is not a source of factual information for the article. It might be appropriate for an article dedicated to that individual school or community. --Dan East 06:49, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

I also removed the external link to the Ravenna High School football team. External links on this page need to be related to the conference as a whole, not a specific team. --JonRidinger (talk) 18:43, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Needs updated

I am going to start updating as many of the sports as I can, but would really appreciate it if some others could help.
