People who work for the port took down the information about protests and detention centers and replaced it with text that talks about "excellent networks" of transportation providers. It's obvious these writers copied and pasted straight from the Port website. This is un-encyclopedic. Acumensch (talk) 10:08, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

A note: This page used to have some text critical of the port and it was removed in 2008 by User:Mwasem, the Communications and Media Relations Manager of the Port of Tacoma. Here is the main diff. The removed text had info about the Northwest Detention Center and anti-war protests in 2007. Because none of the text was sourced (there was no reference section at all until I added one today) I am not restoring it, but thought it worth posting here that it used to be here and was removed by the Port itself.
