Error in Taxonomic Classification edit
This is a page for a plant, but the link for the genus takes one to a page about sea snails, which is clearly an error. Mlarthur (talk) 12:21, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
Not really blue. edit
Apparently they aren't blue either!
Recent examination of the layers show they trap and reflect light that enters them so they shine with a petrol blue hue but they themselves are not blue at all. http://www.inquisitr.com/328662/the-shiniest-living-thing-on-the-planet-award-goes-to-the-pollia-condensata-berry/ --MRNasher (talk) 09:37, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
Are they edible? edit
I came to the article to see if they are edible or not, but there is no mention of any use in any cuisine or of toxicity. Seems like such things would be useful to add. 71.63.69.193 (talk) 16:14, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
- I read they were not remotely edible (hard, dry, and shiny); suspect nobody has even considered eating them. Chiswick Chap (talk) 16:21, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
