Redirect vs. disambiguation edit

@Beland: This should be a redirect, because several articles are using it that way and link to it. Dab pages should have no links to them at all. Besides, dab pages are absolutely not about synonyms. They should list different kinds of things that share the same name. Also, there is no mention on Politicide of the phrase “political killing”, so it does not qualify for a dab page per WP:DABMENTION.

Forgive me, it’s late and I’m tired. I made a mess of my edit summaries and should have stopped doing this about an hour ago. But this should be a redirect, not a dab page. — Gorthian (talk) 06:11, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Gorthian: A disambiguation page can exist for any search term where the article the reader is searching for might be correctly answered by more than one article. That happens when two or more things have the same name, but also happens when a term can be interpreted in two or more different ways. There are only seven articles that link to this page; I will change the links on all of them to the appropriate destination articles so they are not linking to a disambiguation page. -- Beland (talk) 06:21, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
