Move from article: For the past eight and more years I have been researching certain facets of ancient Church history. Deeply interested in history, I am also a dowser. I dowse for secret underground tunnels which I believe the ancient Catholic Church and others constructed.

Yesterday, Thursday 20th October 2005, I was again dowsing a tunnel which I have tracked to, and through, the ruins of Holy Cross Church near Deneholm, Wallsend. The tunnel is on a heading of roughly 320 degrees. I have tracked it across (Under) the bridge spanning the Burn and across St Peter's cemetery to the Southeast. It exits the SE corner of the (Lower St Peter's) cemetery. Two large cracks run down the wall directly above the tunnel. The tunnel then crosses the A187 and into the (East) yard of Point Pleasant House (The site of the ancient Hall) where an offshoot enters the East side of the House. It then continues toward the Tyne. I am quite certain that it does eventually enter Bede's at Jarrow. Today, Friday 21st October 2005, a day after I dowsed this tunnel, I came across this item in Wikipedia. It confirms my theory. Any information will be gratefully recieved.
