Talk:Pipeline pre-commissioning

Latest comment: 7 years ago by Lennart Jansson

Well, I started off this topic a few days ago & am now beginning to understand the enormity of the task. 5 yrs experience in this industry & I have learned a helluva lot, but, when I break it down - as in the main article, i realise there's a lot more to digest.

Coupled with being new to wikipedia as well, this task is a little bit daunting now. So, Im asking: does anyone want to collaborate on this? Maybe you are a bit more clued up about the wikipedia requirements etc..etc...have particular expertise in an area of of pipelines pre-com, or just want to be a proof-reader of the article. Let me know if youre interested by replying to this post. cheers...sb

Just a short note about terminology. In the field of industrial piping and the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED, today directive 2014/68/EU) we make a distinction between pipes and piping in the industrial premise and pipeline. The pipeline conveys fluids outside the industrial premise, e.g. district heating, gas- or oil distribution lines, and is excluded from PED. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lennart Jansson (talkcontribs) 15:25, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
