Pipefish in the fossil record edit

Are pipefish sufficiently bony that a continuous record of their fossils (apparently buried in sediments?) can be made of their evolutionary change? 216.99.198.3 (talk) 07:32, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Pregnancy edit

I have been writing an article Pregnancy (fish) but I cannot find any details for pipefish on the length of gestation or number of offspring? Can anyone help please.__DrChrissy (talk) 18:12, 3 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

filial cannibalism edit

I don't see at all how absorbing the embryos or their nutrients is at all similar to male fish eating their young, except in the most general sense, in which case it hardly deserves a name. Rather some sort of fetal resorption. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 17:44, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
