Move page to 'Pin-lever escapement'? edit
This escapement is no longer used in watches, but it still has a large use in alarm clocks, mantel clocks, and kitchen timers. In view of this, what about moving this article to 'Pin-pallet escapement' or 'Pin-lever escapement' and redirecting 'Pin-lever watch' there? --ChetvornoTALK 02:19, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Inventor edit
In reading the reference I saw the inventor of the escapement itself is not Roskopf. Digging further this interesting subject I found another good reference saying the same thing. From Bretscher: "e) The employment of the pin pallet escapement, conceived by the French watchmaker Louis Perron of Besancon in 1798. Jules Grossman of the Le Locle school of horology had recommended this escapement to Roskopf."
