Talk:Picture Show (magazine)

I'm concerned about the article's statement that in 1919 this magazine was taken over from the Amalgamated Press by Odhams, who continued to publish it until 1960. I have issues and annuals from the 1950s which were published by the AP. I'll have to search among my collections, but I'm sure that this title was always published by AP, and that it was another British film magazine, Picturegoer, that was published by Odhams. Always, as far as I know. WP is supposed to be an encyclopaedia, and its information should be accurate. O Murr (talk) 19:31, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

The date for the alleged takeover should be the early 1930s, not 1919 (the year the magazine was founded). But the point still stands. I believe that Picture Show was always published by the Amalgamated Press and that Picturegoer was always published by Odhams. O Murr (talk) 19:38, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
