Pibroch v Piobaireachd
editThe anglicisation of piobaireachd into pibroch is one that was never widely accepted and nowadays almost unused, particularly within the piping community. It was invented by Walter Scott, mostly because his intended audience didn't have a word of Gaelic. Many uses of the word 'pibroch' do not refer specifically to ceol mor but to pipe music in general. I would suggest moving this article to Piobaireachd and redirecting in the other direction. Calum 13:08, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
