Talk:Per Degaton

Black Vengeance Trade edit

The credits page states the book collects issue #'s 66-75, and it collects segments of #66 & #67 that have Degaton-related pages as a 'Prologue,' but despite the fact that they weren't the 'main' story in those issues, they were in fact there, so it's appropriate to include their numbers in the story arc count, even if the entire issues weren't devoted to the arc; issue 75 had Degaton's appearance at Atom-Smasher's 'death' to gloat about it to Stargirl, while 73 & 74 had the elements that led to it and formed the basis of Degaton's prediction and so, part of the arc. Okay, I changed it without reading this first, so apologies, but 73 & 74 don't really count. He appears in 75, but 73 & 74 don't really pertain to him at all. 75 just has him showing up again. I don't disagree about 66 & 67, but it's about appearances, and Degaton didn't appear in 73 or 74, and had nothing to do with that arc beyond his appearance at the end. Clean-up needed, June 2012 edit

The Chronal Duplicate section is far too detailed and needs to edited. But from the plot summary in the previous section, I'm confused how the Duplicate was able to do anything if he was in the time machine with Zee and then killed immediately after his arrival in the 1987. That needs to be cleared up (the paragraph about Grayson's diary adds to the confusion, as it's not clear how that storyline fits with the Infity, Inc. storyline or when the retcon was put in place.)
