Article formatting needs to be improved edit

This article's appearance has become increasingly cluttered as more and more non-prose items (photos, infoboxes, charts) have been added, making it difficult to read, particularly for people with visual and/or cognitive impairments. These additions appear to violate Wikipedia's Manual of Style/Accessibility standards which urge editors to "Avoid placing images on the left hand side as a consistent left hand margin makes reading easier" and "Avoid sandwiching text between two images or, unless absolutely necessary, using fixed image sizes." In addition, this article has been tagged, for roughly a decade, as lacking citations and also needs more descriptive text because the ratio of prose to non-prose is out of balance. At this point, at least several of the non-prose items (photos, charts) need to be repositioned to an image gallery, reformatted, or removed in order to bring the article back into compliance with the MOS and make it more accessible for Wikipedia users with cognitive/visual impairments. - 47thPennVols (talk) 15:08, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
