Remove Weasel tag edit

There were a couple of citation-needed and similar tags. I've removed them and reworded the weaseling, since the citations support the conclusion. I'm of the opinion that the Weasel should be removed, but would prefer that someone concur, since I didn't think the original was bad enough to warrant it in the first place, so perhaps I'm missing something .--Wcoole (talk) 23:14, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Could it be that the source you heard from meant Tradescantia pallida, an different plant that is also called "purple heart"? Its article says it's indigenous to Mexico's gulf coast, which is surely closer (and climatically similar to) parts of the US Southwest. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 12:00, 27 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
