Tagged as {{pov}}, since there's lots of loaded language in here - halfway into the first line we're onto the "leafy suburbs" of Birmingham (a good number of people would not agree that there's anything "leafy" about the place). - Just saw this article, and would like to point out that I passed the studios every day on the way to uni about 10 years ago. That particular part of Birmingham was perfectly leafy, thankyou. - It may well be 'leafy' but it is not neutral saying that. It makes it appear you are trying to sell the area to people and promote it. That is what we are trying to avoid. - Erebus555 19:54, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

- Would 'tree-lined' be more appropriate and factually correct? Pebble Mill Road and the two roads that it joins (Pershore Road and Bristol Road) are all lined with trees, and Cannon Hill Park is less than 100 yards from the site. I've just gone through the article and removed any subjective statements that could be seen as potentially 'biased', as well as rearranging it for effect. I've played around with the syntax in the first paragraphs, since they each read like opening sentences and didn't quite fit together. Etymology edit
Any idea why it was called Pebble Mill or what a pebble mill is? This has always bothered me a bit. Pebbles do not need milling. Studio 7 edit
Studio 7 certainly was a working radio studio as part of the network radio operation during the 1970's. It comprised a small talks studio and cubicle and was adjacent to the comms centre and an NCA "down the line" contibution studio. I recall making some feature links recordings in the mid 1970's in Studio 7 and I believe it was also used for regional news opt outs on Radio 4 VHF before these were scrapped due to the prevalence of local radio. The suites of radio studios areound the first floor corridor were originally designated 7, 8 and 9 and were intended for regional radio. When local radio was incorporated into the complex 7 went to network use and 8 and 9 became BBC Radio Birmingham studios 2 and 1 respectively. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.156.11.12 (talk) 03:37, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Rearrangement edit
I was wondering if Pebble Mill Studios should remove section 5, put 5.1 in section 2 as Outside Broadcast Television with 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.3 becoming 2.8.1, 2.8.2, 2.8.3.
