Did John Cleese get a credit for writing or creating this? DavidFarmbrough 12:54, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- From what I remember of this show (I only managed to watch the first three or four episodes before getting fed up), if I were John Cleese, I wouldn't even 'want' my name attached to a show so bad! --Ericdn (talk) 09:54, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, John Cleese was a fan of the show. Had it not been canceled, John Cleese had agreed to play the recurring role of the Owner/Manager of the Sand Dune (Whispering Pines' rival hotel). His character was to be the antithesis of Basil Fawlty (and of Royal Payne), calm, patient, generous, accommodating, the model hotelier! Fish Man (talk) 22:54, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Really? Quite interesting! I had thought that John Cleese had better taste than that, though. --Ericdn (talk) 01:22, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't think he's adverse to making extra cash! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.221.224 (talk) 16:37, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
