Untitled
editThis is and was a relatively important mall in the south suburbs of Chicago and thus should not likely be deleted, but instead should be developed, particularly in historical context. Kukini 00:01, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Significant shopping center
editWhoever said Park Forest Plaza was insignificant doesn't know much about shopping centers and malls or anything at all about the history of Chicago's southern suburbs. The article needs work and I'm not sure I'm qualified to do it justice but the idea that the topic isn't worthy of an article is flat out wrong.
Fire Hydrant
editI seem to recall a fire hydrant outside of Marshall Field's that was painted up to look like a little man and I think was given the name "Amos". Kids would play on and around it. I even remember an short fluff piece in one of the local papers about it in the early 80s. I'm looking for references, but no luck yet. Anyone else seem to remember this at all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.135.207.175 (talk) 15:26, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
