The references in this article were removed for the following reasons: 1. the referenced websites did not have anything to do with the statement they were linked to. Refferences should be used to substantiate a fact asserted in the article. If the link is worthy of inclusion, it should be put under a separate section "additional sources" not references. 2. One link was broken or access was denied. 3. the last link was to a commercial website selling mantises: www.mantisplace.../mantisforsale.html It contained no information relevant to an encyclopedia, and I suspect it was SOE related link spam.
