The biblical bit was very corrupt. I corrected the Greek text and replaced the very rough translation with a literal one much more appropriate for discussing the structure of the sentence (the old translation really obscured the interesting parallels in the verse). I also rewrote the interpretation because the one given was spectacularly incorrect; I'm not a theologian, but I can correctly identify the antecedent of a pronoun *grin* (οἳ "they" here refers clearly to the πιστεύοντες "believers" of the previous verse, or perhaps ὅσοι ἔλαβον αὐτόν "whichever ones received him", who are the same; it cannot refer to Christ who is, quite notably, singular).
