É or E???

I've personally seen Panthéon spelt like this: Pantheon. Are both right, or am I just missing out on the accent? Justintime516 21:45, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

"Pantheon" without the acute is the general English term, and applies to various similar monuments. The French spelling is specific to this case. D. J. Cartwright 00:43, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Jean Jacques Rousseau is not listed among people buried there

Toussaint Louverture

The parallel French article states that there is only a memorial plaque for Toussaint Louverture, and in 2006, Georges Sarre called for Louverture's remains to be transferred. So I am removing the entry which indicates that Louverture was interred in 1803, which would be immediately after his imprisonment by France. This seems rather unlikely. Liturgical functions

The article states: "after many changes now combines liturgical functions with its role as a famous burial place." Are there actually any religious rites still performed in the Pantheon? That seems to contradict a later paragraph. Mrglass123 (talk) 21:07, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Mrglass123

Clovis I?

Full list of people interred

The notation for Jean Moulin says, "His body is not in the Panthéon, it was never found." But the biographical entry for Moulin says, "Moulin was initially buried in Le Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. His ashes were later transferred to The Panthéon on December 19, 1964." Félix Éboué is not included in the complete list

Félix Éboué, first black governor-general of a French colony (Guadeloupe, 1936-8, followed by Tchad, 1939-1944) and early supporter of Charles de Gaulle and the Free French, was interred in the Panthéon, along with Victor Schoelcher, in May, 1949. He is the first, and to this date, only person of African descent to be so honored.

His wikipedia entry has the correct information.

What is the source for this person? He is not mentioned in the French WP Panthéon article nor in its master list of burials. SteveStrummer (talk) 04:58, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Why is there a Comma in the title?

I don't a comma should be in the title. I think the comma implies a city inside Paris. And the official site doesn't have a comma. DarkFrog (talk) 15:15, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
