One pant

edit

I have heard the word "pant" used to refer to a pair of pants, such as "a new classic fleece pant", but I have never heard of anyone selling half of this article of clothing -- certainly not in the last 400 years. Could you please cite some references? And even though chaps are physically separable, I've never seen anyone selling one chap. –Shoaler (talk) 19:52, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I raised my eyebrows while reading this as well. I'm gonna change it. EdGl 21:10, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
no-one sells a single pants anymore, only pairs. But it would be helpful with repairing a pair if they did. I had some references when I originally wrote this one, cant seem to find them again though. The reason i wrote it was for people who didn't know its pants are actually a pair and not a single. Cleanup and merge

edit

I have cleaned up this article, removing material which is also covered in the article on pants and restructuring it as a disambiguation page. I also merged the material from the otherwise unreferenced page pant (disambiguation) which can now be deleted. –Shoaler (talk) 14:02, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is a disambiguation page, and to reach wikipedia norms, it needs to be cleaned up. Internal links should be removed, and any material that should be in an article should be moved to the appropriate article. I think that the "See also" section should be removed too. For proper layout, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). I'll look into it when I have time if no one else does. IronChris | (talk) 03:49, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
