Palette (computing) description

I (approximately) undid the changes to this definition contributed by Mrs Scarborough, as I've never heard of the changed version and it is unrelated to the linked article. If this is an accepted meaning of "palette", do we need a Palette (GUI) page or so? --Tardis 22:09, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Palette/Pallet

edit

These are actually two spellings of the same word, however "pallet" is most commonly used to refer to a forklift pallet. Shouldn't we have "pallet" redirect here and "forklift pallet" as a new article? - LeonWhite 15:27, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This image is okay, but I'd love to see someone holding and using a palette.--Knulclunk (talk) 17:35, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Palette for taste/food

edit

Does wikipedia have an article for taste/food palette? If yes, can this link to there? Thanks! - Miaire (talk) 03:07, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

That pesky homophony! To get to what you're referring to from here, the path is See also > Palate. That article (palate) doesn't really talk a whole lot about the figurative sense that developed as an extension from the literal sense. Mentions the "oaky" example briefly, that's about it. Perhaps you can expand the coverage there! — ¾-10 23:18, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
