Added cleanup template edit

The article is written in a very colloquial style. It should be edited. Thepillow (talk) 06:28, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • I suggest it may be a copyvio (copyright violation), possibly from webmd which it mentions...Smarkflea (talk) 18:15, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
There was copyvio from the recently added sources. I rewrote the article based on the version prior to July 2011 to eliminate this, essay-like features, and off-topic sections and to add sections that seemed needed, but the sourcing is still poor and some statements in the lede are unsupported, so I left the cleanup templates in place. Suggestions edit

  1. There are a couple ways of improving this article, simply by adding pictures so I can visually see to tie it in to the information that is provided and understand a little better.
  2. Another way to improve this article is by adding more information backing up what "Pain disorder" actually is.
  3. One of the most important ways of improving this article by far is to add your sources, knowing exactly where you got the information from is the key! If I think that something is not true, I can simply go to that particular source, and prove myself wrong or right just by clicking on the source for information.

Collectivist vs individualistic countries edit

The article mentions "People from collectivistic countries such as Japan, China, and Mexico are more likely to suffer from pain disorder than individualistic countries such as the US and Sweden" with a citation to http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/914594-overview#a0199

However that source contains no mention of China or Mexico or collectivism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.73.109.138 (talk) 22:53, 29 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
