This section has some significant errors:

"The San Francisco riot was led by Caucasian-American nativists who used violence to advance their goal of establishing segregated schools for Caucasian and Japanese students. (Lee, 551) Along with the Gentlemen's Agreement, the San Francisco riot resulted in segregated schools for Caucasian and Japanese students"

No, this isn't correct. The school board announced the segregation policy in 1906. The riots happened after. And the Gentlemen's Agreement, between Japan and the U.S., actually ended the segregation policy; the SF School Board agreed to reverse itself, while Japan agreed to restrict immigration from Japan to the U.S. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:9E29:8440:BDC0:6572:8ADD:CC85 (talk) 19:08, 5 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
