But the stated modern definition is 1 step and 30 inches, which is a half pace, not a single pace. 2 steps and 60 inches is a single pace, not a double pace. 173.66.211.53 (talk) 01:51, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

- Yes. Although those arguing for the single step often take it as the only current usage, and the double step as archaic, while I'd definitely learned the double step, here and there. 173.66.211.53 (talk) 02:55, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
