Age inconsistency edit
The article says B1509 is "1,700 years old" and is about "17,000 light years" distant from Earth. If it is only 1,700 years old, we'd have to wait another 15,300 years for first light to arrive so we could even see the object. — QuicksilverT @ 10:19, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

As for the age, the Chandra X-ray Observatory site claims it is 1,700 years old in the Earth time frame, which means that it is 18,700 years old, but we observe it as 1,700 years old because of the 17,000 light years distance.
