NJT internal designations edit

Those are to be found on the rear of the schedules issued by NJ Transit. They are contained in the TXXXX code; all of the bus routes have them, even former Trans-Bridge Line routes (e.g. their New York-Allentown route with the "T0350" code, from the time NJT operated that as route 350, former 150). MCM1 bus timetables have the code "T0871", MCM2 has "T0872", and so on and so forth. The NJT PDFs online also show these code numbers.

Actually, NJT timetables currently show the MCM routes as TXXXM, with the last M denoting Morris. However they still do internally recognize these routes as 871 (MCM-1), 872 (MCM-2), 873 (MCM-3), and 880 (MCM-10). Not sure about the other "rural" MCM routes that don't operate full time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevin36 (talkcontribs) 04:51, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is coming to an end. See here. Internal numbers have gone external, and there is a big restructuring of routes happening. (The only bus route number not retained is the MCM7/877.)

Passaic-Athenia Bus Lines edit

I've added the section and an expand tag so someone can add this info later. Ken S. 14:33, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Personally, I think the historical PABCO information is confusing, especially placed at the top, since those routes are now NJT routes operated by Coach USA/Community Transit. I suggest removing them, and only listing the current MCM routes. Kevin36 00:47, 11 April 2008

Service Discontinuation edit

There's no mention of the fact that in accordance with NJ Transit's plan, MCM4, MCM5, and MCM7 will be discontinued on May 1 2010 (the date is not certain). We should mention this fact in some way. 8.12.63.35 (talk) 20:12, 14 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
