Casualties

edit

Two secondary sources give casualty figures of NVA/VC: 1,170 KIA & 182 POW; US: 137 KIA & 1,085 WIA

  • The Encyclopedia of the Vietnam War: A Political, Social, and Military History, p. 1357, published 2011 by Spencer C. Tucker, ISBN: 9781851099610
  • Vietnam War Almanac: An In-Depth Guide to the Most Controversial Conflict in American History, p. 236, published by James H. Willbanks, ISBN: 9781626365285

As these are not official government publications, they may provide a degree of confidence about the reliability of the figures. Would also note that the source provided for the assertion of casualties in the "Aftermath" section does not actually give any casualty figures that I can see, and I've tagged it accordingly.
