While I am trying my best to present this article in a balanced, NPOV manner, I have to rely on sources which are rather biased in favor of the Duke of Windsor. Michael Bloch's book is great, although in my opinion it underplays the duke's sympathies towards the Nazis. Take note that I regard Mrs. Simpson's relationship with Ribbentrop and inclinations as allegations based on files released by the FBI and the British government. Although I tend to believe them, I find it best to exercise restraint on this.

I am leaving to future contributors to shed more light on this subject. RashBold 00:46, 11 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
