School district zip code

I just want to note that the Ontario Local School District is located in the city of Ontario, but its school district also covers much of Springfield Township. I also want to note that the school district has a Mansfield, Ohio zip code number since Ontario, Ohio does not have a Post Office within its municipal boundaries.---OHWiki 02:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry, Ontario does have a post office at 3656 Park Avenue West. As of May 2009, the city of Ontario is trying to get the zip code problems addressed through the United States Postal Service. Only business and residents that live within the city limits of Ontario that have a Post Office Box (P.O. or PO) at the Ontario Post Office can use the Ontario, Ohio 44862 on their mailing address. Otherwise residents within Ontario (within the 44903 or 44906 zip code areas) have to use Mansfield, Ohio for their mailing address. The 44862 zip code is however, is exclusively for post office box subscribers. Residents who receive their mail at their homes would only delay mail if they use the zip code reserved for post office box customers only.—OHWiki (talk) 05:00, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
