Title is absurdly long edit
We need to shorten the title of this article. The current title is extraordinarily long because there are multiple cities called "Oleksandrivka", which is why we need to disambiguate this particular one. However, the way that this has been done is not good currently, as it is too long. We need to abbreviate the title.
Personally, I don't know exactly how many cities are called "Oleksandrivka", and I don't know how many such cities carry this name within Mykolaiv Oblast specifically. I do know that there is another city called "Oleksandrivka" nearby on the western side of Kherson Oblast.
The information about the Horokhivske rural hromada is unnecessary for the purposes of the title. Jargo Nautilus (talk) 06:35, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- According to the history of the redirect article "Oleksandrivka, Bashtanka Raion", the article was previously under that name before User:Ymblanter moved it. According to the policy that this user cited -- WP:UAPLACE, the correct title of the article should be "Oleksandrivka, Bashtanka Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast", because the policy says that the raion must always have the oblast attached to it (whereas the oblast can just be there by itself without the raion). However, there is no specification about the inclusion of the rural hromada, so I believe that it can be removed from the title in order to abbreviate it. - For the first question, why do not you look it up yourself? For the second, articles about frontline areas in Ukraine are being created actively, and we can not leave a "simplified" name because in a few days an article about another Olexandrivka is going to be created, and then one of the names will violate WP:MOS as none of them is the primary usage.
