This article needs updated, Tom Patton is now Majority Leader, Tim Grendell has resigned, and Larry Obhof needs to be represented. His page has been deleted unfairly numerous times.
- If you can supply reliable sources for this, please put them here & change the "help me-helped" above to "help me" and someone will put in the sourced information. Skier Dude (talk) 04:38, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

Larry Obhof is the only ohio state senator not represented. Can someone create a page for Obhof? Please refer to http://www.ohiosenate.gov/larry-obhof.html. 50.19.24.19 (talk) 19:27, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- I created a page (here: User:Frietjes/Larry_Obhof), but we will need an administrator to move it into place. Frietjes (talk) 20:01, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- now moved in place, so this is done. Frietjes (talk) 22:16, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

The last edit (a reversion) severely harmed the page and made it outdated. Please notice on http://www.ohiosenate.gov/tom-patton.html that Tom Patton is now Majority Leader, on http://www.chron.com/news/article/Maverick-GOP-senator-leaves-Senate-for-judgeship-2178977.php that Tim Grendell has resigned, and through my recent visit to the Ohio Statehouse, I have noticed that the office numbers were correctly updated before reverted as well. I recommend the easiest way to do this is by just reverting the last edit by Marcus Qwertus.

- Done I also made some preliminary changes to Tim Grendell, but I think more work needs to be done there if others are interested. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:10, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

According to this source: www.ohiosenate.gov
The following committee chairmanships need to be changed.

- Bill Seitz is not Government Oversight and Reform Chairman
- Bill Coley is Government Oversight and Reform Chairman

- I cannot see any specific problems, as of now - possibly, it has all been fixed. If you think that something should change, please make a specific request, with a reference. E.g. "change THIS to THAT per <THIS RS>. Thanks, Chzz ► 06:52, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Partly done: I've updated the minority leadership after confirmimg with the source in the section above. Please provide a source for the seniority change and set answered=no in the template to get someone to make that change. Thanks, Celestra (talk) 16:03, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
A 34th District?
editHi, I was just curious to know if the legislature had 34 districts. At the beginning of the month an unregistered user added themselves into said 34th district but I've reverted the changes. According to the District Map from the official Senate website as well as the map from the Secretary of State, there are only 33 districts until at least 2022. Can anyone provide evidence of a 34th district or was it a fluke? Snickers2686 (talk) 05:24, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
To add to article
editTo add to this article: the total number of senators this body comprises by law (not just how many senators there are at present). 173.88.246.138 (talk) 15:54, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
Change the Seal of the Ohio Senate
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
- What I think should be changed: The Seal of the Ohio Senate
- Why it should be changed: The one currently used is a rendition and not the official seal
