OH is an abbreviation

edit
The acronym OH, such as the state of Ohio.

The abbreviation "OH" is not an acronym as generally defined, as "OH" is generally not pronounced, nor formed from the first letter of multiple words. I am changing the above line to reflect this. Mesulliv 23:58, July 10, 2005 (UTC)

Oh vs O

edit

The vocative particle O is not merely an archaic spelling of oh, it's an archaic word. It's not always easy to tell them apart, but in a phrase like "hear, O king," it's clearly not the interjection. (See Vocative case#English.) —Tamfang (talk) 03:05, 11 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

In chemistry

These are all essentially the same thing! Why list them as four independent concepts? (Formerly they were sub-indented under the heading "in chemistry:".) —Tamfang (talk) 04:50, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
