Disagree: not written like an advertisment at all; factually correct concerning all aspects of Ogri himself, his bike, Malcolm & Mitzi; and the links include intelligent humour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.173.103.219 (talkcontribs) 19:24, 3 August 2009 "written like an advertisement"... what humourless bollocks! 86.162.149.147 (talk) 22:09, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! Since I wrote most of this article (an addition or two has improved it visibly) I appreciate the above. Not an advertisement but a thoughtful analysis by someone who followed the strip in Bike magazine from 1981 until it left for good, not to mention catching up on the earlier strips in hardbound form, and much as I'd have liked to cite all the observations I made I'm sure the reader will appreciate the logistical difficulty when dealing with a magazine cartoon. Ogri's bike edit

I remember an episode where Ogri's bike was demolioshed by a (predictably) Volvo driver who didn't look when he pulled out of a junction whilst chatting on his mobile phone. I'm pretty certain that episode marked a change from one bike to another, as the last panel showed Ogri filling in his insurance form for a new bike while (iirc) in the background the Volvo driver was about to be crushed by his own falling car.

Does this ring anybody elses bells? What was the old bike destroyed - and what did he replace it with? a_man_alone (talk) 18:20, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
