Responsibilities
editI'm associated with the Office of Electricity (OE) and am not going to make edits in the article. I note that the Responsibilities section includes the following text:
- The Office is responsible of for the analysis of electricity congestion, the designation of draft National Interest Electric Transmission Corridors, the coordination of energy corridors across federal lands, and workforce issues related to the electricity utility industry. The Office of Electricity also works with the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies to enhance the security of the nation's critical energy infrastructure.
- The Office of Electricity works with the United States Department of Homeland Security and other agencies to enhance the security of the nation's critical energy infrastructure.
Aside from the last two sentences being duplicative, which is an easy fix, the first sentence represents activities that were moved from OE to the Grid Deployment Office (GDO) when GDO was established in 2022. The second and duplicate third sentences represent activities that were moved from OE to the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, & Emergency Response (CESER) when CESER was established in 2018.
GDO and CESER are referenced in United States Department of Energy#Organization but neither has its own page yet. Salton Finneger (talk) 13:07, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
